This workshop explores the newest techniques and state-of-the-art technology for manipulating images from a variety of sources and putting those images onto fabric.  With just the push of the button, you can crop and change your images using free software that is available on the internet and a variety of plug-ins that will be demonstrated in class. Technology is exploding and you, too, can create image/photo transfers for your own masterpieces.  Whether your interest is in vintage, more traditional or contemporary work or abstract, we will explore your theme and your images during this workshop.

The Emergence of Convergence Trunk Show

This trunk show features quilts based on the tips, techniques and teachings of master quilter, Ricky Tims.  Whether you became a “Convergaholic” by attending Ricky’s Quilt Seminars or local or national classes or if you’ve selected a project from his book on your own, this collection of works will inspire you to design and quilt Ricky-style.  Ricky’s innovative techniques have gained the attention of quilters across the world and now you, too, can master the art.  Ricky has given Rita permission to teach the four quilts from his first book, "Convergence Quilts".  Class samples are displayed below.    If you are interested in Ricky's luscious hand-dyed fabrics, dvds or books check out Ricky's website at www.rickytims.com.
